What will you find in Material?
This is a space open to experimentation and criticism. Supported by this freedom, some projects use all kinds of elements to form a critique of economic systems, politics, territory, and environmental exploitation.
For this edition, the Steve Turner Gallery, in Los Angeles, brings a great protest art artist, Carlos Martiel, showing video recordings of his performances, objects used in them, and sketches used for their planning. Without a doubt, seeing these pieces in person is not an experience for the sensitive, but it is totally worth it. This booth is located on the first floor under code A30.
